Bubba Chicken

This is the recipe for which my grandmother is most remembered. It's been handed down for generations, and (until now) has always been guarded closely. While appearing simple, there were originally no measurements, which is how Bubba cooked - everything was "to taste." I've added some measurements that might help, but you don't have to follow them - use them as a guideline and see if you want more or less of anything. Bubba used to crush the Rice Krispies with a rolling pin, and she did a more consistent job of it than I do putting them into a plastic bag and crushing them with my hands.



I never knew that they had Rice Krispies in Romania around the turn of the century (20th century, that is), but...
